Student Out?

Please email [email protected] PLUS their respective teacher(s) if your student is out for any reason!

Host an Exchange Student!

Several individuals have asked Cornerstone Christian Academy about the possibility of becoming a Greenheart school. Greenheart Exchange is a nonprofit organization that offers cultural exchange programs in the United States for people worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for CCA. We have a list of students looking for placement this fall. All of these students state that their religious preference is Christian, Protestant, or Catholic and that they will attend church with their host families. Please let Mrs. Mitchell know if you are interested in hosting. The deadline is August 31st to get them enrolled in school. And the great news is The Greenheart Exchange pays tuition for these students! Please prayerfully consider hosting one of the students.

Elementary Art – A Note from Mrs. Nichols

Hello Parents of K – 5th grade students! I am looking forward to an exciting year ahead with your children! I wanted to let you know of a fun collaborative project that we will be creating and we need your help. I am assigning each grade level a color for this project. I am asking that you and your child look for items that you have around your house (a junk drawer is a great place to start) in the color that is assigned to your child’s grade level. Please see the picture of an example of a “Found Object Color Wheel” to the left. Please send item(s) to school with your child to bring to art class! We would like to put this project together the 1st week in September, so if you could start sending them right away that would be fantastic! Thank you so much for participating in this fun – FREE art activity with us! ~Mrs. Nichols

Volunteer Opportunities

Our school year is off and running and we are excited to see what God does in our school this year. Last year we had many students express the desire to have “clubs” return to CCA. These clubs are made possible by volunteers who so generously donate their time to our CCA students. If you are interested in serving in a volunteer capacity and serving as a club sponsor, please feel free to reach out to us. We look forward to working with you as we work together to make these clubs possible for our students!

Athletic News

The Tapps information system is up and running. Coach K sent an email last week to all of the high school parents and athletes on how to set up your students’ accounts. Additionally, parents will need to set up an account as well in order to sign the parent consent forms. You will do this the same way you accessed your students account, using the email you provided in the guardian one information. This needs to be done asap, starting on Monday 9/26 we will not be allowing athletes to participate in practice or games if their forms (athletes and parents) are not signed. Call, text, or email Coach K if you have any questions. (High school athletes only.)
