The Registration Fee illustrates a family’s financial commitment to the school and allows the administration to reserve a seat for your student for the new school year. Our families’ financial commitments also allow CCA to determine the number of teacher contracts to issue and make other financial commitments for the new school year. Therefore, the Registration Fee is non-refundable.

At Cornerstone Christian Academy, we finalize our commitment to our faculty, staff, and vendors each spring before the academic year begins. These contractual obligations are made based on the trust and financial commitment we receive from our families.
By registering your student, you are confirming a financial commitment to the school for the entire academic year.
Tuition and Fees: Non-Refundable Commitment
General Policy: Tuition is considered a non-refundable commitment.
Special Considerations:
Cornerstone Christian Academy recognizes that family plans change. For any unique circumstances (such as the following) families disenrolling after the announced deadline will be exempt from the above tuition penalty:
- Moving/Relocation 50+ miles away from Cornerstone Christian Academy.
- Educational needs for the student that can no longer be met at Cornerstone Christian Academy as determined by faculty and school leadership.
- Other circumstances as approved by the Board of Directors.
Important Details on Financial Obligations
-
Full Obligation: Whether your student is dismissed, expelled, or withdraws early, the financial commitment remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Tuition is based on an annual contract and will not be prorated for early withdrawal.
-
TEFA Funds: If you are a recipient of the Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA), all tuition and fees must be settled in full, regardless of the funding source. Awarded TEFA funds must first be applied to application, registration, and tuition fees before covering any other expenses.
Timely Payment and Access to Records
We require all families to meet their financial obligations in a timely manner, as this supports the uninterrupted operation of our school.
-
Delinquency Policy: If your tuition account is 60 days (two months) overdue, your child cannot attend classes and will need to remain home until the balance is brought current.
-
HOLD on Student Records: To ensure the financial continuity of our school, official student records will not be released until the full financial obligation has been settled. This hold applies to all records necessary for transfer or future educational planning, including cumulative files, transcripts, testing results, and academic recommendations.
-
Addressing Hardship: If you are facing a newly acquired hardship that impacts your ability to make timely payments, please contact the business manager immediately. We are happy to meet with you to explore a short-term payment plan, but we are unable to extend long-term credit.
Final Settlement: All financial obligations must be completely settled by May 31st of the current school year. Families with outstanding balances will require approval from the Head of School before students may return in the fall. Unsettled balances may ultimately be sent to collections.
Continuous Enrollment

Texas Educational Freedom Accounts (TEFA)
The Texas Legislature created the education savings account program in 2025 to give families more choices in their child’s education. The program was then officially named Texas Education Freedom Accounts. Starting in the 2026–27 school year, funds will be made available to eligible students accepted into the program that can be used for tuition, tutoring, home-school educational expenses, or other approved education expenses.
We are so excited to announce that Cornerstone Christian Academy will be accepting TEFA funds! You can click here to learn more about the program, submit an application, sign up for family updates, and review the FAQ section for eligibility requirements.
TEFA will be accepting applications from February 4 through March 17. All Texas children are eligible to apply if they live in Texas and are United States citizens or were lawfully admitted into the U.S.
