Student Council

Student Council includes students in grades 9-12 who want to be involved in a leadership role and impact the campus through the planning of student-centered events. Student leaders are Christian role models who desire to impact the Christian culture and social environment of the student body.

The 2013-2014 school year opened with the first-ever Student Council or Stu Cru.  The Student Council plans the high school unity retreat, homecoming, spirit week festivities, and works with the cheerleaders to plan pep rallies. The Stu Cru team also works on service projects throughout the year.

Elections are held at the end of the school year for the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Students who run for office must get a teacher’s recommendation before beginning their “campaign” which includes giving a speech to the members of the student body.
