Student Council

Student Council includes students in grades 6-12 who want to be involved in a leadership role and impact the campus through the planning of student centered events. Student leaders are Christian role models who desire to impact the Christian culture and social environment of the student body.

The 2013-2014 school year opened with the first ever Student Council or Stu Cru. Student Council started the school year with a splash by hosting our traditional all school Swim Party. Next the Stu Cru hosted the first ever Dodgeball Tournament. Students and staff joined to make up mixed teams and competed against each other not just on the court but also for the best team uniforms and team name. The Student Council plans homecoming and spirit week festivities and holiday parties. The Stu Cru team also works service projects through out the year.

CCA also offers student council at the junior high level which includes 6th through 8th grades. Elections are held at the beginning of the school year for the offices of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Students who run for office must get a teacher recommendation before beginning their “campaign” which includes giving a speech to the members of the council.
